2nd Annual Festival of One Acts 2005

Weston Arts Council collaborated with the Otsego High School Drama Club to present “The Second Annual Festival of One Act Plays” in October.  The Festival was held at Weston Elementary School’s Auditorium.  This unique collaboration provides a vehicle for Senior Otsego students to gain experience in directing their own production.  The goal was to encourage more students to get involved with high school drama.  Around 40 students participated in some way during the one-acts.  Thanks to Ellen Larabee, the high school theater teacher, for proposing and working with us on this project.  Thanks also to Dawn Bahner for her hard work volunteering with the group.

Weston Homecoming Days 2005

The Weston Homecoming Days 2005 was a real success despite the intense heat of this June.  The Kids’ Art Area was busy with children of all ages as they spent the afternoon tie-dying shirts, making stepping stones, and enjoying a wide array of art activities.

The Weston Arts Council also sponsored musicians and other entertainment for Center Stage (which became the Center Tent due to the heat.)
